The Victims of Hostile Actions (Benefits) Law (Amendment No. 30) (Amendment No. 2), 2016 (hereinafter - the Amendment), was passed in second and third reading on 2 August 2016. The Amendment provided that a person who was orphaned of both parents as a result of a hostile action before 1 October 2000, and therefore was not entitled to the benefits given to those whose both parents died from a terror attack after that period, shall be entitled to an additional one-time grant in the amount of 200,000 new shekels, in addition to previous grants awarded in the amounts of 550,000 new shekels and 200,000 new shekels.
