The National Insurance Law provides that if a person who was paid one of the benefits listed in Section 310 dies, a death grant will be paid on their behalf to their spouse, and in the absence of a spouse - to their child. Until this amendment, no grant was paid in the case of the death of a "disabled child" as defined in Section 221 of the Law. This amendment provides that the death grant will also be paid in the case of the death of a disabled child, to an insured person who was paid an allowance for that child.
