This law continues the series of amendments made to Basic Law: The State Economy (Amendment No. 10 and Temporary Provision for 2020), and increases government expenditures to deal with a renewed outbreak of the coronavirus, by way of a temporary provision, in the amount of approximately 2.5 billion new shekels, in order to enable the provision of additional grants to businesses, self-employed persons and the unemployed, as well as a supplement to the earned income tax credit in accordance with the Law to Increase the Labor Force Participation Rate and Reduce Social Gaps (Earned Income Tax Credit) (Amendment No. 15 – Temporary Provision – Novel Coronavirus), 2020.
