The Law exempts such a local authority from tax imposed on income from linkage differentials accrued during the exemption period, and paid to it during this period by a water and sewage corporation under its control, in respect of a loan given by that local authority to that water and sewage corporation, and this is in addition to the existing tax exemption in the law on income from interest in respect of such a loan.
