Official summary of the law (Knesset)

The Law enshrines legal assistance for the families of victims of homicide offenses, including guidance and receiving advice and assistance in exercising their rights in legal proceedings. The Law expands the list of sexual offenses for which legal assistance can be received. In addition, the Law establishes a temporary provision whereby the legal assistance provided to victims of sexual offenses and human trafficking offenses will be expanded, so that it will apply already from the investigation stage and also to civil proceedings arising from the offense.
