The Law establishes arrangements expanding the application of European law regarding the cosmetics business in Israel and includes three main components: 1. First, an alternative import track to the existing track is established, based on the principles underlying European Union rules, intended for proper importers as defined in the Law who maintain a comprehensive quality and safety control program for every cosmetic product they import. This track will allow a proper importer to import a cosmetic product more quickly and efficiently, without a safety assessment having been conducted for the product and without maintaining a product file, as required under the existing track, all subject to the conditions specified in the Law. 2.
