The law establishes that the Asian Development Bank will have legal personality in Israel in accordance with the agreement establishing the Bank, which was signed in Manila in December 1965, and which the State of Israel joined in April 2022 (hereinafter – the Bank Agreement). In addition, the law enshrines the status, immunities and privileges specified in the Bank Agreement for the Bank and its officeholders, and establishes that the Minister of Finance will represent the State regarding its membership in the Bank and will bring amendments to the Bank Agreement to the attention of the Government before they enter into force.
