The Law to Amend the Municipalities Ordinance (Amendment No. 139), 2016 was passed in second and third reading on 22 February 2016. The Law establishes that a municipality and local council will publish on their website all forms required to receive the services they provide, and in any other publication that includes details on ways to contact them or receive service from them, they will state the email addresses to which inquiries or forms may be sent, and will allow anyone contacting them in writing to send their inquiry or the form required to receive a service by email of their choosing, except in cases requiring the personal presence of the person making the inquiry or requesting the service.
