תיקון מס' 20 לחוק הסיוע המשפטי קובע את הזכות לקבלת סיוע משפטי למי שנפגע מעבירת מין שהיא עבירת אינוס לפי סעיף 345 לחוק העונשין, מעשה סדום לפי סעיף 347(א) או (ב) לחוק העונשין, בעילה אסורה בהסכמה בקטינים לפי סעיף 346(א) לחוק העונשין או עבירות מין במשפחה או בחסר ישע לפי סעיף 351 לחוק העונשין, שהוגש בגינה כתב אישום. הזכאות תכלול קבלת ייעוץ, ליווי וסיוע במימוש זכויותיו של נפגע עבירת המין לפי כל דין במסגרת ההליך הפלילי או בהליך המנהלי הנוגע לכך, וזאת ללא מבחן הכנסה הקבוע בסעיף 3 לחוק הסיוע המשפטי.
