The Law enables a notary to voluntarily suspend their notary license. The Law clarifies the consequences of suspending a license and renewing a license after suspension – whether voluntarily, in connection with restrictions on membership in the Bar Association, or following disciplinary suspension or revocation. It is stipulated that the Law shall take effect on 1 January 2026; however, a notary who did not serve as a notary in 2025 and wishes to suspend their license also with respect to that year may notify of this retroactively from the effective date until 31 March 2026.
