This Law establishes that responsibility for providing rehabilitation and mobility device services to victims of work accidents will continue to apply to the National Insurance Institute under the agreement signed between the National Insurance Institute and the health funds, and will not be transferred to the health funds under the National Health Insurance Order (Amendment to the Second and Third Schedules of the Law), 2022, which transferred responsibility for supplying rehabilitation and mobility devices from the state to the health funds. This amendment will be in effect from the effective date of the said order until 26 March 2026. The Minister of Labor, with the approval of the Knesset Labor and Welfare Committee, will be permitted to extend the validity of the Law by order for one additional period not exceeding one year.
