The Law determines that every year, on the 1st of Kislev, a day will be held to mark the letter of the 18 Jewish families from Georgia. On this day a special discussion will be held in the Knesset plenum, and a central ceremony will take place as decided by the Government. In addition, value-based educational activity regarding the letter of the 18 Jewish families from Georgia will take place in educational institutions, as decided by the Minister of Education. The Minister of Heritage is responsible for implementing the Law.
