The Law establishes an income tax exemption on a grant paid to an athlete for winning first, second, or third place in a competition held as part of the Olympic Games, the Paralympic Games, or the World Games, or for a win as stated in an adult competition held as part of a World Championship, European Championship, or other recognized championship. The exemption will apply to a grant paid by the Ministry of Culture and Sport, the Olympic Committee of Israel, the Israeli Paralympic Committee, or the Israel Athletics Association, from 1 January 2021 onward.

החוק קובע פטור ממס הכנסה על מענק ששולם לספורטאי בעד זכייה במקום הראשון, השני או השלישי בתחרות שהתקיימה במסגרת המשחקים האולימפיים, המשחקים הפאראלימפיים, משחקי העולם, או בעד זכייה כאמור בתחרות לבוגרים שהתקיימה במסגרת אליפות עולם, אליפות אירופה או אליפות מוכרת אחרת. הפטור יחול על מענק ששולם על ידי משרד התרבות והספורט, הוועד האולימפי בישראל, הוועד הפאראלימפי הישראלי או התאחדות איל"ת, החל מיום 1 בינואר 2021 ואילך.
