הוחלט להאריך את תקופת הוראת השעה המאפשרת ריצוי עונש של מאסר של עד תשעה חודשים בעבודות שירות (במקום שישה חודשים) בשנתיים נוספות. זאת לאור העיכוב בביצוע המחקר המלווה ומגפת הקורונה אשר שיבשה את מהלכו התקין של המחקר והפריעה לאיסוף הנתונים וניתוחם.
