This Law amends, by way of a temporary provision, the Absorption of Discharged Soldiers Law, 1994, and provides that a discharged soldier is entitled, during the three months beginning on 20 July 2020 and ending on 20 October 2020, to apply to the Fund for Discharged Soldiers to receive, from the deposit balance credited to his account, for use for any purpose, an amount as detailed below: a discharged soldier for whom, as of the commencement date, 18 months have not yet elapsed since the date of discharge shall be entitled to withdraw an amount of 5,300 new shekels, and a discharged soldier for whom 18 months have elapsed since the date of discharge shall be entitled to withdraw an amount of 3,500 new shekels.
