Official summary of the law (Knesset)

Section 50 of the Execution Law, 1967, establishes that despite the basic rule whereby any asset of a debtor may be attached, including an existing or future right held by a third party, there are exceptional assets that cannot be attached. It was decided to include among these exceptions, which cannot be attached, also funds due to the debtor from any of the following: the health services basket to which a person is entitled under the National Health Insurance Law, an insurance policy for medications not included in the health services basket, an insurance policy for funding transplants or surgeries abroad, and a long-term care insurance policy.
