Official summary of the law (Knesset)

The amendment to the Law provides that legal aid will be given by the state to a person in a civil proceeding under the Prohibition of Discrimination in Products, Services and Entry into Entertainment and Public Places Law, 2000, without an economic eligibility test. Accordingly, the aid will be given to anyone who has been harmed under the Law and seeks to sue under it. This, as a temporary provision, for a period of three years. The requirement for the cause-of-action test under Section 4 of the Law remains in place.
