Amendment No. 154 to the Penal Law adds a new chapter to the Law concerning harm to state sovereignty by bringing an item into or out of the borders, and establishes in it an offense of harming state sovereignty at the borders, which prohibits bringing an item into Israel or taking it out of Israel unlawfully and not through a border crossing, with a penalty of 9 years' imprisonment.
