The validity of the temporary provision in the Protection of Employees in Emergencies Law (Amendment No. 5 and Temporary Provision - Swords of Iron) is extended until 7 February 2025, and the Minister's authority to extend the validity of the temporary provision beyond that is cancelled. This temporary provision establishes protections against dismissal for employees who are evacuees, employees who are hostages or family members of a hostage or missing person, and employees who are spouses of soldiers in mandatory or permanent service or spouses of those listed in Section 11 of the law.
