This law establishes a temporary provision for two years, according to which the determination of the disability grade of a victim of hostile actions may also be made by an authorized physician as defined in Section 208(b) of the National Insurance Law, meaning, by a physician who is generally authorized to determine disability percentages in general disability cases, however it is required that they have knowledge in the fields included in the training program of a physician who currently determines disability grades for hostile action victims. In addition, the law authorizes the Minister of Labor to extend the temporary provision if convinced that this is required due to a multiplicity of claims, for additional periods that, cumulatively, will not exceed one year. An appeal against a decision of an authorized physician shall be submitted to a medical appeals committee under Section 122 of the National Insurance Law.
