This Law expands eligibility under the National Health Insurance Law, 1994, for reimbursement of travel fares in an intensive care mobile unit or ambulance, so that a full reimbursement will be given for the cost of transportation to a hospital in an intensive care mobile unit or ambulance in cases where the insured person who was transported died before being hospitalized – but not more than the amount of the fee set for travel by Magen David Adom ambulance or intensive care mobile unit.
