The Economic Arrangements Law (Legislative Amendments to Achieve Budget Targets) (Amendment No. 15), 2017 was passed by the Knesset on 3 July 2017. The Law provides that a local authority that established a property tax discount for a person with a disability shall be obligated to grant the same discount, under the same conditions it established, with respect to a property in which the person with a disability who was entitled to the said discount resides, even if another person is considered the occupant of the property, and also with respect to persons with disabilities who are not persons with mental disabilities, including people with physical or cognitive disabilities and autistic individuals, who were referred to a community living framework by the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Social Services.
