The Law extends for a short period a temporary provision that allows debtors to request a judicial order for a "stay of proceedings" for the purpose of formulating a debt arrangement. The temporary provision expired on 17 March 2025. The Law extends the temporary provision until 31 July 2025 and allows the Minister of Justice, with the approval of the Constitution Committee, to extend it for a period of up to an additional 6 months.
