It was decided to adopt amendments intended to strengthen the privilege status of a physician's testimony relating to mental health treatment, or the testimony of a psychologist or social worker, applicable to victims of sexual offenses or severe domestic violence offenses. Alongside this, it was decided that victims of certain sexual offenses will be entitled to receive legal aid under the Legal Aid Law, 1972, regarding the waiver of the privilege and proceedings related to the disclosure of the privileged therapeutic material concerning them.

הוחלט לקבל תיקונים שנועדו לחזק את מעמד החיסיון על עדות של רופא בקשר לטיפול נפשי, או עדות של פסיכולוג או של עובד סוציאלי, שחל לגבי נפגע עבירה בעבירות מין או עבירות אלימות חמורה במשפחה. לצד זאת, הוחלט כי נפגע עבירה בעבירות מין מסוימות יהיה זכאי לקבל סיוע משפטי לפי חוק הסיוע המשפטי, התשל"ב–1972, בכל הנוגע לוויתור על החיסיון ולהליכים הקשורים בגילוי החומר הטיפולי החסוי בעניינו.
