החוק מאריך לתקופה קצרה הוראת שעה שמאפשרת לחייבים לבקש צו שיפוטי ל"עיכוב הליכים" לצורך גיבוש הסדר חוב. הוראת השעה פקעה ביום ה-17.03.2025. החוק מאריך את הוראת השעה עד ליום 31.07.2025 ומאפשר לשר המשפטים, באישור ועדת החוקה, להאריך אותה בתקופה של עד 6 חודשים נוספים.
